Legacy Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Granite City, Illinois.

Legacy Golf Course first opened for play in September 1, 1990.The course was designed by Hale Irwin. The Granite City Park District took ownership of the course in October 2009.

This is a flat, links-style course. The greens are well bunkered. Nine lakes are scattered throughout the layout.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees, the course plays to 6327 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5340 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 522 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 132 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 17, a 406-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 4, a 365 yard par-4.

#7 at The Legacy Golf Course is a risk/reward par 4. Long hitters can take advantage of the dogleg left and leave only a wedge into the green. Others will be best suited to play it safe and hit a mid-iron into this relatively flat green. Par on this hole is usually a good score.
